Solo or with his band, Marc is a unique presence. His blues are relaxed and his rock's got some deep swing. His live show is his forte, and his recordings are getting noticed, as well. Marc lives in the Hudson Valley, north of New York City.

He's recorded more than a dozen CD's, including a 'pick hit' in Billboard Magazine, and another recognized as a 'minor masterpiece' by famed music producer, John Hammond Sr.

Marc won the American Library Association Award for Best Children's Album when he produced 'American Children', featuring performances by Dave Van Ronk, Rick Danko, John Sebastian, Taj Mahal, Peter Schikele (PDQ Bach), Maria Muldaur, and Richie Havens, among others.

ASCAP has featured Marc in performance at the Sundance Film Festival. And just recently, he was all over the international news for a song he penned about Martha Stewart attempting to trademark the name of the town he resides in. The video of his performance has been viewed more than 34,000 times!

In the spring of 2007, Marc was the number one selling artist on CDBaby . Stroke of Genius features a supporting cast that includes Steve Gadd, Art Garfunkel and John Sebastian. One song off the CD, For A Little While', was recently selected as one of the top five nominations for 'Best Artist in Style - Folk' by Meer Music's Fame Games. 'Lies in Red, White & Blue' has been in the top 50 (and as high as 33) on Neil Young's 'Living with War' site for more that a year. And his new tune, 'Ooh I Love My Coffee', has been causing quite a ripple since his performance at the International Folk Alliance last February.
