Singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist Kendal has created what seems like a new world of music. With influences as diverse as Sade, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Richie Havens, Curtis Mayfield and Bjork it would be hard not to. This New Jersey native has delved into a realm few venture into- mixing rock, r&b, and electronica into what he calls
Stone Edge Soul.
With nothing but his home studio and his imagination in his arsenal, he has been hard at work on his new project. He has performed throughout the tri-state area with his band, and has managed to collect a small following of bohemians, metalheads and old school soul lovers thanks to his eclectic style and unique live show.
Ultimately, Kendal wants to change the face of music. His goal is to redirect the consciousness of the average radio and mainstream junkie.
“If I can get the bubbly pop fans to take a minute to listen to my melody and poetry, and actually feel it- to me that’s nothing short of magic!”
