Mighty Fine Mojo follows in the footsteps of recent blues revivalists from the American Midwest. This blues-based band stands out from other original bands because of a unique style which comes from a creative mixture of several musical styles including; the blues, rock and roll, soul, gospel, folk and more. They expressed the idea that all American music is derived from the blues and gospel, so the music of Mighty Fine Mojo could be deemed "an ode to American Music."

The musical concoction is rendered from their musical influences, including the Black Keys, Eric Clapton, Credence Clearwater Revival, and Black Rebel Motorcycle club, among others. Band members include: Brent Orndorff on lead vocals & guitar; Reggie Raisner on lead guitar & backup vocals; Dusty Richardson on drums; and Eric Rasley on bass. Rasley is also a member of the band nativemind. The band also collaborates with guest performers including Raven Grant, Travis Dillon, Jon Dacosta and Clayton page. No matter who is on stage, Mighty Fine Mojo always projects a positive, creative energy and create a new kind of blues.

Orndorff also writes all the band's songs, combining positive spirituality and various musical influences in his writing. Prior to writing, recording & performing with MFM, Orndorff was the singer/songwriter for the band Blue News.

Blue News released their self-titled, debut album, "Blue News" in January of 2006 under Statue Records of Hollywood, CA. Their last release was a 2007 EP entitled, The Signs. 2 songs from The Signs EP were featured on national television on the soundtrack for the PBS series Road Trip Nation in 2007. The same songs also received steady radio play during the band's first college radio campaign last year.

The band plans to promote a single from the album in an upcoming radio campaign targeting first to college & internet radio stations.
