KEYENTA is a rock band in Portland, OR. That's where they live, record, and perform. They originally formed and started doing shows in the late winter of 2003. They made a couple of short demos and underwent some changes in the line-up before releasing their debut self-produced full length CD, "ENTITLED", a little over a year later in the spring of 2005. The band's mission and motto is "modern rock with classic style". The band's members all share a deep love for the colossal and timeless music of the 60's & 70's, as well as the profound desire to pioneer a new and definitive sound for their band... a sound that would allow them an avenue to display their diverse influences and retro-roots by integrating the composition and arrangement styles of yesterday with the hard hitting modern sounds and beats of today. KEYENTA stands out as remeniscent of what was, and stands up as what's to come.
