Khatchig is an accomplished Armenian singer/musician. Throughout his lifetime, he has been exposed to various genres of Armenian music and blend them to create his unique style. These genres include: Armenian folk and troubadour music (kousanagan), Western Armenian folk (kef) music, estradayeen (europeanized Armenian music), Armenian pop and even Rabiz(Armenian Blue-collar music).

Khatchig is a versatile performer. He is known for his live, one-man performances singing and playing an electronic keyboard. In addition, Khatchig also performs with musical groups with a combination of either/or traditional and modern instruments. Whether on his own, or with a four piece band, Khatchig entertains the crowd and gets them on their feet.
