Details:
Where Are You Now [1998]
"Where Are You" includes dreamy, melancholic ballads such as the sexy title track, "When Love Comes Around, a wild take on the classic "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch", and an eclectic mix of new "smooth-funk" voiced works.
Deanna's reflections:
"This CD was recorded in Bearsville - the famous studio near Woodstock, NY. Being in the country as opposed to the city allowed me to take me time and truly relax during this session. One of my specific memories of going outside to grab a breath of fresh air between takes of the song 'I Want It Now' goes like this...

Its a hot afternoon in july in July, I walk out into the yard behind the studio, 5 bees decide to go up my dress and sting me, I run into the studio screaming trip over my dress (see front cover) and after 15 minutes of downtime, record the definitive take of the song. Maybe that explains the frenetic energy of this the most up-tempo song on the CD..."
