Gregory Kilpatrick, the son of a preacher man, began playing bass guitar at age five at a church where his father was the Pastor. He was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. At church, Gregory witnessed the powerful fusion of his father's inspirational words and the soul stirring music: This spiritual reality provided Gregory with his vision. Thirty years later, he has compiled a staggering repertoire of Contemporary Gospel, Jazz and Rhythm and Blues compositions. Gregory does not only play an instrument; he makes it come alive as if it were speaking to the listener. This young, gifted musician commands both the bass and rhythm guitars, and also the piano.

Where has he been? Gregory Kilpatrick has been working as a local musician for various artists. He is also the Bass guitar player or Piano player, depending on the Sunday of the month, for Union Baptist Church in Montclair, New Jersey where Dr. Walter Parish is the Pastor. He is constantly performing on Bass guitar or Piano in countless venues and for numerous artists. Below are a few of the artists he has performed with:
