You actually want to "NOT" delete your cookies or any of the other types of super cookies once you have your new account set up. See eBay doesn't like it when they can tell that someone is trying to be really stealthy. They like it when you log in and they can immediately communicate with the cookies they've implanted into your computer. You could get suspended again by trying to delete cookies and super cookies all the time and appear to be trying to be too stealthy. Also, it doesn't matter which browser you use. It doesn't matter because you are going to be leaving all those cookies etc. in you computer to make eBay feel comfortable with you. You don't need a super stealthy browser. Any browser will be just fine once you've taken the steps outlined in this guide. You can also purchase a new hard drive and install it into your computer and this will give you a clean slate to start with. Another way to start with a clean slate is to format the hard drive you have. You can find out how to do these things on t he internet, it's not worth going over all that here. Also you can do a "system restore". A "system restore" will put your computer back to where it was when you bought it. Just click "Start" then click "Accessories" then click "System Tools" then click "System Restore". Important note! If formatting your hard drive or doing a system restore, you will lose everything in your computer. Make sure you have back ups and you know what you are doing. Or find someone who does know what they are doing to do it for you. Also don't ever log in to your new eBay or PayPal account from a computer that you are absolutely sure that nobody that has ever had a suspended eBay account has logged into that account on the computer you are using. Best to stick with your own new computer, from your own new IP address. Wireless cards are great because you can plug them into you desktop or laptop and take them anywhere. Also, you want to always let eBay plant their little cookies and their super cookies into your computer. You want to leave these things in your computer because this makes eBay feel more comfortable with you. That way they assume that they know exactly who you are and what you do while you are on the internet. It shows that you are not trying to hide anything. So, contrary to popular belief, you don't want to delete all of you cookies every time you sign off from you new eBay and PayPal accounts. My best suggestion is to never use this new IP address and this new computer for anything else except your eBay and PayPal business. If you use this new computer to go onto a website that is not eBay and you give out your personal information like your name, address, phone number, credit card number etc. you may very well unwittingly be giving your true identity away to eBay. EBay has a sharing program where they share information with over 50,000 other web presences to help them keep track of you better. It's not worth the risk of losing your new eBay account if you are serious about keeping it. Do exactly as I am telling you in these first chapters and you will be forever safe. Congratulations you are now very safe from eBay uncovering the old you. Chapter 3 Creating a New Name for Yourself You don't have to change your name to do this, but you could. However this is a very simple thing to do. Actually what you are going to do is start a business. Your new business will have whatever name you want to call it. You can use a name exactly like a person's name for your new business. For example, if your first name is Randy, and you make clay pots, you could name your new business "Randy Pots". You will also use this name to open your bank account. All of this is absolutely legal and ethical to do. You could also just use a typical business name such as, "Supreme Enterprises". You have no way of knowing how many people will read these same words that you are reading so I
wouldn't suggest that you actually use, "Randy Pots" or "Supreme Enterprises". Make up your own unique name. One fantastic method to do this is to actually start your own LLC also known as a Limited Liability Corporation. This method may take a few days longer to complete. Federal and state laws all recognize all corporations, no matter what type of corporation it is, as individuals. In other words they legally see them as if they are actual people. You can do a simple Google search for, "incorporate" and you will find thousands of online businesses that will do all of the work for you for less or close to a hundred bucks. They get you a new Employer Identification Number, or "EIN", and everything you need for that one small fee. You can then use your new EIN to set up a "Business Account" with PayPal without revealing your social security number. It doesn't matter if you incorporate your business a Limited Liability Company or a Corporation. Any type of company will work just fine in order to secure the ne w name that you need to open your new eBay account. Your new name will determine what type of eBay account you open. If you use a name that is just like a real person's name you can open a personal eBay account. If you use a new name that is just like a typical business' name you can open your new eBay account as a business account. The main thing is you now have a new name and your own real name will be known only to you, and not eBay. See the section on setting up a new bank account and you will find out that you should call your local banks to find out what documentation you need in order to set up a new business checking account. Either a "fictitious name statement" or corporate papers may be required. Note: not all banks have the same requirements so call around and find the easiest one. This is not unethical. Especially if eBay suspended you for some stupid reason, as they are known to do on a daily basis. After all you are starting a business. And you are creating a name for you business. These things are done thousands of times every day. It just so happens that you business will be the business of selling items on eBay. Never use your real name as the contact person for your business. Make up a very common name that many other people will share. Or you may choose to use a very unique name that no other person will have. It doesn't matter. Chapter 4 Obtaining a New Mailing Address The best way to complete this task is to rent a mailbox somewhere. It's best not to rent one from the post office, but if you have to it will work too. Look in your local yellow pages for "mailbox rental" and you should find several places near you that rent mailboxes. Go and rent yourself one of them. You only need the smallest cheapest box they have. You may have to pay for three months up front, but the cost is still pretty low. I rented a box for $15 a month, so it cost me $45 for three months up front. You will want to tell them that you are renting the box for business purposes. That way they will allow the box to acce pt mail in the name of your new business as well as your personal name. You can then have all of your new credit and debit cards etc. mailed to this box. You will also want the bank to show this mailbox address as the bank checking account address. Now when you do register your new account with eBay, and with the bank, and with PayPal, you never want to write PO Box as your address. Legally you don't have to. For instance, if the address of the business where you rented your box is 1313 Mockingbird Lane you don't have to show your address as
1313 Mockingbird Lane Box #55, or 1313 Mockingbird Lane PO Box 55. You can legally, simply, list your address as 1313 Mockingbird Lane #55, or 1313 Mockingbird Lane Suite 55. You want to give the same address to the bank when you open your bank account using this address. I personally would use 1313 Mockingbird Lane #55. This makes it look as though it's and apartment. An apparent apartment works best for a personal account with eBay. You may want to say Suite 55 if you are using a business name and opening a business account. Chapter 5 Obtaining a New Phone Number If your a Vonage customer you can get a new number with even a new area code for $4.99 a month. The best ways to obtain new phone numbers are as follows. The way I did it is I went to google.com and did a search for "call forwarding". Then I chose one of the many businesses I found to buy a phone number from. It's best if you can buy a local phone number that matches the address of the mailbox you rented. However that's not an absolute necessit y. One reason I chose to obtain my new phone number using this method is because it's cheap. You definitely DO want to buy a local phone number though. By this I mean you want a phone number with a real three digit phone number prefix that matches the area you live in. For instance if you are in Dallas it's best to buy a phone number that begins with (214). Two one four is a real natural prefix for Dallas. In other words do not buy yourself any type of 800 numbers unless you are going to open a business account. Even yet, it's best to buy a local phone number in my opinion. You try what you want. My way works for sure. RingCentral.com is a great place to get a new phone number instantly. Now the reason I did a search for "call forwarding" is because I want to be able to forward my new phone number to my cell phone. The reason I did this is because I know that eBay will want to call me and verify my phone number when I set up a new account. They do this every time a new account is open now when you turn that account into a sellers account. So you want to make sure that you are able to answer that phone call when you get it. You won't actually have to talk to a live person. But, when you try to list an item for sale on eBay with a new account eBay will not let you list the item until you can verify your phone number that you have listed. You will come to a screen that will direct you to push one of two buttons. One button will say "call me now", the other button will say "call me in two minutes". You choose whichever works best for you; just make sure you are absolutely ready to take that phone call. Make sure you have a pen and paper ready because you will get a recording of a four digit phone number when they call. You need to know that four digit phone number when you get to the screen where it directs you to type in the four digit code they gave you when you got that phone call. You then type in that four digit code and now congratulations, you now have a seller's account on eBay. Now you can start making mon ey. Keep in mind that cable phone lines, like Vonage, will work. However don't forget that eBay owns Magic Jack, so don't try to use a Magic Jack phone number. You could also just have your phone company change your phone number, or you could just have a second phone line installed. You may have some of your own ideas on how this could be accomplished in the best way for you. Just make sure the number is new and you answer that phone call when you get that verification phone call. Chapter 6 Obtaining a New Email Address, Creating a New Password and Creating New Answers to Security Questions It has been said by many others that a real email address assigned to you by an Internet Service Provider is the best type of email address to use on your contact information on eBay and PayPal. This is true but
