This is my first CD even though Iâve been playing and performing vocally and as a flutist all my life. My sister and I had a duo, featuring vocals, guitar and flute and we traveled around the Philadelphia area when I was just 10 years old. We had a record contract that fell through.
I always played flute or sang in any musical function at school and took various genres of lessons in voice and flute throughout college and afterwards. Iâve sung in original and cover bands and as a lead vocalist, always with flute in hand. Iâve sung extensively on demo sessions, recorded many flute overdubs and sung background vocals for the group, Chicago, Sergio Mendes, Eddie Money, JT Taylor and Laura Branigan and others. Iâve played flute with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Nashville Symphony and have always been a featured player in any band, Jazz, Pop or Classical that Iâve been part of.
Iâm holding my head up high as I introduce this CD into public ears. These are some of my all-time favorite songs and the musicians performing them are outstanding. The engineering and production is absolutely professional. The overall CD is clean, clear and to the point, allowing listeners to kick back, relax and ENJOY!
