This album compiles songs from different years and styles in the Fernando Osorio Zumaran song writing process. But even so, the recurrent themes are love, awe, thirst for justice and meaning, and joy.

The influence in Fernaâs music comes from The Beatles, Silvio Rodríguez, Los Angeles Negros, Kiri Escobar, Duncan Dhu, Víctor Heredia, Leo Dan and the garage band next door that keeps the artist from sleeping at night.

We asked him what music means to him and he responded this way: âIt is a lightning bolt coming from the telephone line. It is a bird celebrating flying. It is a womanâs shoe that enhances her beauty. It is a cloud that knows its power and changes first into water, then into a flower.â And then he added: âMusic is my way to say, âHey, here I am, this is what I have for you nowâ.â

When we asked him why he makes music, here is what he said: âMaybe to avoid despairing over the world, to rise up from death on the third day.â Then he started to tune his guitar up and continued, âMusic actually turns the lights on; it helps me to explore myself, to feel my diaphragm and expand my lungs, to enjoy life.â

Arrebol is the red color in the clouds at dawn or sunset; it is also that glow or warm feeling that can be seen as a redness of the cheeks. It is also the Spanish word for blush.

Este álbum reune canciones de diferentes épocas y estilos en la producción musical de Fernando Osorio Zumarán. Pero aún así, los temas recurrentes son el amor, el deslumbramiento, la sed de justicia, la búsqueda de un sentido, y la alegría.

Musicalmente hablando, las influencias en Ferna son variadas, entre ellas: los Beatles, Silvio Rodríguez, Kiri Escobar, Víctor Heredia, Los Angeles Negros, Leo Dan y la banda de rock que ensaya en el garage de al lado y no lo deja dormir.

En una breve entrevista, le preguntamos qué significa la música para él, y nos responde: âes un rayo que se sale de la línea telefónica; un pájaro suspendido en una rama que se apresta a volar; un zapato de tacón altoâque además de su función pedestreâexiste para realzar la belleza del pie femenino que lo calza. Es una nube consciente de que se transformará en lluvia y después en plantaâ. Luego añade: âLa música es mi forma de decir âaquí estoy, esto es lo que tengo ahora para tiââ

Al preguntarle por qué hace música, nos dice: âCreo que para evitar volverme loco en este mundo, para resucitar al tercer día entre los muertosâ. Entonces, mientras afina su guitarra, continua: âLa música es capaz de mover el interruptor y encender la luz; me ayuda a explorar dentro de mí, a sentir el diafragma y expandir los pulmones, y a disfrutar la vidaâ.

Arrebol es el tono rojizo que adquieren las nubes al salir o al ponerse el sol. Es tambíen el rubor que se advierte en las mejillas ante alguna emoción súbita.
