Linda Kosut moved to the San Francisco Bay Area over 15 years ago from her native New York City where she began her cabaret career at the former Jan Wallman's in the Village, among other cabaret venues.

Often compared to a "lush chardonnay with mouth-filling flavors," Linda is a stylish, moving and entertaining performer. She has performed in many of San Francisco's cabaret/jazz venues including the reknowned Empire Plush Room, the Cosmopolitan Cafe, Zingari at the Donatello hotel, Cafe de la Presse, and is currently in residence at San Francisco's legendary room, the Purple Onion. She has also appeared in Los Angeles at The Gardenia, and in Palm Springs, California.

She is a co-founder and member of the cabaret vocal trio The Kitchenettes, with whom she has also performed at COPIA: The American Center for Wine, Food & The Arts in Napa, Calif., the Larkspur Café Theatre, as well as appearing in Italy where they performed at the National Festival of Comic Songs & Songwriters to rave reviews. The Kitchenettes first CD "Dining at the Banquet" is also available.

Linda is a 1990 Fellow of the Cabaret Symposium of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center.
