Originally designed in the 1930's, the Hammond B3 Organ, took basic tones and layered them together to render what we recognize today as its signature sound. With incredible versatility, this instrument in the right hands is still unequalled by its digital counterparts of today. Joe Kurasz is one such artist. He has composed music for the soap opera "Guiding Light", television show "The Bravest" and scored original soundtracks for the film "The Followers". On his latest album, Soul Searching, Kurasz conveys a nostalgic feeling and declares in the liner notes, "Soul is something you can't hold, but you know it when you feel it, especially in a song." With many original compositions Kurasz lets you know he's the real deal.

I've never heard the B3 played like this before. On his latest record, Joe Kurasz has done some Soul Searching. Full of interesting melodies and fantastic improvisations, this is an album that will stir yours! Soul Searching resonates!
