This is the first CD so far that hasn't had the words "Choji Moji" in the title. This CD actaully started out as two CDs, "Robo Inviso" and "Seven Dollar Microphone." Then we decided that the songs weren't really good enough to warrent charging people for them seperatly, but if we put it together it wouldn't be bad. That's Why the first half of the cd is a live "studio chatter" stream of songs such as "jingle bells" and "Frosty the snowman" along with a weezer cover, While the second half is weird techno stuff. Seven Dollar microphone was actually recorded in January 2002 in My dorm room in Santa Cruz on a microphone that I had bought for $7 at the bookstore. I think its initial purpose was to allow people to talk to each other when playing Team fortress or soemthing.
This CD gives birth to the wildly sucessful Zangief song, which was strange, because originally we were gonna focus on the Frosty the Snowman punk remix thing that had unfolded during the recording session. The other thing that came about was the rediscovery that choji moji should really have some female vocals. Becky's "Sex is like Chocolate," and "Vega Vega VEGA!" songs were retarded as hell, but lots of fun.
The second half of the CD is just random stuff. I don't think I could really describe it here. oh yeah, this is the cd with all the banjo stuff on it. yes...
Zangief!
This CD wasn't actually compiled until right before our show at the elks lodge, where it was sold for $5. This CD isn't available on mp3.com, because we don't own the rights to use the Zangief picture. (not to mention that most of the songs were never uploaded to the internet. If you've never heard Nick's pants Remix, or Chang and CHoi's funky rap, you're missing out. buy a CD next time you see us!)
