Chris Corney is a Hertfordshire born singer songwriter. He began playing guitar around age 11, wrote his first song at around 14, and formed first band at around 16. In 2005 Chris signed to Complete/Universal publishing and has since picked up various radio airplay / interviews and played numerous gigs.
Chris' debut LP "Built To Be Burned Down" was recorded during 2007/8. The last song on the album 'Winter Rose' is dedication to Chris' late father, while 'Cemetary Gates' plays homage to Gram Parsons, but the album rocks too.. from the anthemic opener "The Ebb And Flow" to the driving rhythm of "Dark Clouds" this album really is 'all killer no filler'.
A host of great musicians join Chris on the album including amongst others Rob Bond on Pedal steel, Karen Nash on backing vocals and Pianist Keith Weir.
