A couple of old school musicians add a melodic twist with a hint of blues and jazz to classic rock. A completely home brewed effort, the entire CD was recorded and mixed in their home studio while accomplishing a big studio sound.

Both Dave Cooper & Kevin McCoy were just starting their musical journey back in the late sixties/early seventies and were heavily influenced by the music of that time period. Their trade mark sound is a classic easy rock style with melodic jazz undertones. The sound is unique, with hints of Jimmy Page acoustic picking and Carlos Santana and Steven Stills licks. Tenacious is a culmination of several generations of music and recording technology. Dave Cooper was recording with tape in the 70's and has recently put together a digital studio with an impressive assortment of vintage interface gear. Tenacious was recorded and mixed by Cooper & McCoy which culminated in "Tenacious" a completely home-brewed CD with a unique and interesting sound that should be listened to several times to catch all that is going on. Even though you will probably hear something different each time you listen to it, you are not overwhelmed by too many things going on but relaxed and interested. We hope that you will enjoy our creation as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you.
