KathyJo is considered one of Florida's premier blues, rock and jazz vocalist. She toured with Gospel group "Billy Hale and Sweetwater" for several years and then âKJ and Witnessâ a 6 piece gospel group. In 2002 at Leesburg Bikefest, KathyJo & The Bluzification Band debuted. Performing a mix of classic rock and blues, Joplin covers, and her own originals, the bands raw out of control sound ignited the crowd!

Clint Meier: Harmonica - Clint has been playing harp since his early 20âs. Clintâs main influences are the great early delta Blues players like, Snooky Prior, Lazy Lester and George âHarmonicaâ Smith. Backing up KJ since the early days of âSweetwaterâ, Clintâs laid back but intense riffs are a big part of that âBluzificationâ sound. His recording credits include âCountry Gospelâ and the bands latest release âOn A Runâ Stage rig of choice Peavey TnT100/Studio Pro 60 stack with Shaker Mikes and Lee Oscar Harps.

Chris Linkous: Guitar - A smoking hot veteran of the Atlanta country rock club circuit, Chris has been making a name for himself in Florida as a powerful and versatile blues/rock guitarist with a great sense of feel for playing the right thing, at the right time, in the right spot. This Macon, Georgia Boy has worked with Blues harp legend Neal Pattman and blues guitar legend Robert (Dr) Coleman. Chrisâs sound and style brings to mind Eric Clapton and Roy Buchanan with a double shot of SRV !! His innovative approach and enthusiasm will have you âBluzifiedâ!

Thommy DeRosa: Bass - Thom has over 42 years in the music industry all over the world. He worked with Atlantic Records/ATCO, and their affiliates for 16+ years as a hired gun. Heâs toured most of North America and the Pacific including Japan. He has backed up and opened for many 'Greats' and 'Legends' in the business, including: The Drifters, The Ink Spots, The Platters, Buddy Guy, Hubert Sumlin Rick Derringer and many others.. As a Producer/stage manger heâs worked with Molly Hatchet, Atlanta Rhythm Section and more.. It is his extra-ordinary bass that is the rock solid bottom in this projectâ¦

Bud Pooton: Drums - A Super steady, hard hitting Pro out of Erie, PA., Bud has worked and toured the USA for many years with classic rock, R&B and top 40 show bands. He toured extensively throughout the south after he signed with Ross Records. This âRoad Warriorâs talents are many. Several times a year, He travels to New York to perform in music symposiums..
