Lady Merk (The Black Russian) got this moniker because she speaks fluent Russian and even raps in Russian. She writes all of her own lyrics and can also sing her hooks. She also helped pin lyrics with EVE before she got her big break into the music biz. Talented, if not more and twice as beautiful, Merk continues her journey to fame.
At 5'6", 130 lbs. and measurements of 38c-26-38 with choclate brown skin, she is the total package. Her looks and personality are a winning combination in the industry.



Merk actually wrote her first complete song while listening to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. From there she started performing locally at all the hot open mic events. Everywhere she performed she left the audience thirsty for more and awe struck. During these events she met DJ Miz who then taught her techniques and how to incorporate her Russian speaking talent into her raps.



Once the female voice for the Philly rap group RamSquad, she become the focal point of the group until their demise. She has appeared in videos and singles. For the artist on Interscope Record called Crumb Snatcha in Bostan, MA and she has opened for acts such as David Hollister, 112, Ja Rule,Jaguar Wright and Shyne. During this she has formed great relationships with artist such as Stylez P of the LOX and everybody is begging her to come out with her own LP. She hopes to one day complete a full Russian album and to be distributed world wide.



Merk is very focused on fulfilling that request and dream and feels now is the perfect time for a new voice in rap and it's her time to shine...
