Lee Landry: Growing up in New Orleans had a great influence on my musical taste. After moving to Texas, myself and some friends started a group called Vital Signs but we had to change the name because someone had already copyrighted that name. So we changed our name to Get Lucky and was playing at the Back Room, Raven's and other clubs around central Texas. After Get Lucky I had many groups but it was hard to keep them together so I decided to take a break for a few years. But now I am back and ready to jam again. I do a solo Rock & Roll acoustic show and have Thirty originals and Ten cover songs.
Since Project Lee was born I have recorded two CDs of all original songs and music. My first CD Free, was recorded in the Studio with some friends of mine and has some really hard driving songs on it. My next CD Just Me and My Guitar is just what the CD title says. I went into the Studio with my guitar recorded nine new songs with and Acoustic version of Free. You can listen to Free and purchase my new CD here at CDBaby. Come and check me out at Steamboat (Sorry to see them go), Momos, Graffiti's, Java Motion, Big Dave's and other clubs around the Central Texas area. Some early rockers who have influenced my music are: Sammy Hagar, David Coverdale, Robert Plant, Robin Trower, Frank Marino, Pat Travers, etc. Thank you for your time and if nothing else, I hope you will remember to spread a little Peace and Harmony to others. That's one of the things "FREE" means to me.
