Details:
"A fast rising star, Larissa displays an impressive range of vocal and songwriting skills on this live CD."
- Greg Rule, Executive Editor, EQ and Keyboard magazine

Larissa Lam is much more than a voice or a pretty face. She is a former record executive at NSOUL Records and holds a degree in Business Economics from UCLA. However, it is her dynamic performances that have caught the attention of music insiders and fans alike around the world.

On her new album, "Thankful to be Live," an unofficial follow up to her debut album, "on the Way up, Lam captures the energy that she brings to live audiences. Some consider this a daring move in a music business accustomed to slick, overpolished studio albums.

Lam considers this "an album that goes back to basics, where the musicians, the melody and the vocals take centerstage instead of production bells and whistles." With a chuckle, she adds, "Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm saving 'bells and whistles' for my next album."
