Local fans in Dunedin, New Zealand, rarely missed her weekly jazz sessions at the Arc Café with pianist Trevor Coleman. In Sao Paulo, Brasil, Laura guest starred in mind-bending funk jams at first-rate clubs like Urbano and Grazie a Dios. Out of all that, she developed her own style - an emotional-girl-folk-rock that's unlike anything that has been laid down before her.
This year she co-produced her first album, "On My Sleeve," and launched a solo career. Her biting, no-bullmake lyrics, powerhouse voice, and driving rhythm guitar make for an unusually high-energy show.
