Lauren wrote and composed each song based on her own life experiences. Her songs were then produced and arranged by Billy Branigan at Boondog Recording Studios in NYC.

In recent news, Songwriter Universe has named Lauren among their top five songwriters of the month (January 2005). Lauren was also recognized as a finalist in Song of the Year's monthly contest (December 2004). In addition, Lauren brought in the New Year by performing in front of nearly 14,000 people in her hometown of White Plains, NY.
