Tabitha Lebec is an American born, European artist who now lives in Los Angeles.
Tabitha's career first began when she was 18 and living in Australia. Impressed by her outstanding talent, Charles Billich, the official artist for the Olympics of 1996, asked Tabitha to compose an album that would musically interpret ten of his paintings.
This opportunity began an adventure that included playing at the Sydney Opera House and receiving recognition from the Royal School Of Music in Australia.
Her album, 'Tabitha Plays Billich' was distributed through Real World Records.
In 1997 Tabitha moved to London to expand her artistic horizons. Tabitha became well known on the London music circuit performing live at various nightspots including The Troubadour and The Kashmir Klub, sharing the stage with artists such as Imogen Heap from Fru Fru and Ki Ki De.
While in London, Tabitha appeared on the BBC. One of her songs, "Rainbow" was used for a television show theme. Tabitha also signed her second independent record deal with 'Sugar Reef Records'.
Tabitha joined forces with Mike Lindup of 'Level 42' to create a group called the 'Post Pop Federation'. Mike introduced Tabitha to Annie Lennox's voice teacher, which brought Tabitha's voice up to a new professional level. The 'Post Pop Federation' released one LP and then broke up, giving Tabitha the chance to return to California where she was born.
In Hollywood Tabitha immediately began working with producers Peter Bernstein and Richard Young. The three of them produced the stunning new song 'Love Is Everywhere'. They had 'Love Is Everywhere' market tested on http://www.musicresearch.com. Testing alongside Norah Jones and Avril Lavigne, 'Love Is Everywhere' tested as a top ten hit!
