Since Leonard became interested in music, he would play as many instruments as he could get his hands on. With artist-musician parents who encouraged all types of creativity, Leonard gravitated toward his dad's instrument of choice - the drums.
While drumming for multiple artists, Leonard wrote and recorded his own music for fun. For one reason or another, the band leaders just couldn't get it together, and after hearing friends and others say over and over, "I like your music better than the group you're with", Leonard could no longer waste time taking someone else's direction.
With a natural gift for music composition and having amassed hundreds of songs, Leonard decided to lead his own project. Leonard played 95 of the instruments on this CD, with some worthy contributions on cello, lead guitar and some piano. This self-produced project was recorded in Leonard's home studio.
The songs are a focused effort to capture the simplicity and basics of music that appeal to a lot of people without getting caught up in hairstyle, clothing, or even the latest slick recording production. Leonard's vision was to take what he does best, and do it the best it can be done!
