Walter Parks and Stephanie Winters have been playing music together since 1991 when they formed the group The Nudes. Touring the US and Canada playing the acoustic and college circuit, The Nudes frequently opened for legendary performers including Daniel Lanois, George Benson, Shawn Colvin, and on several occassions, Richie Havens. By 1999 Walter and Stephanie disbanded as The Nudes and pursued their solo careers although on occassion they would reconvene to play gigs under the name "Winters & Parks". Come 2004 Walter was playing as lead guitarist with Richie Havens and Stephanie was asked to record for Richie's "Grace of the Sun" CD and play record release concerts. Walter and Stephanie now tour full-time with Havens as a trio and are featured on his 2008 release "Nobody Left to Crown". Winters & Parks will be opening for Havens for select shows of his current tour.
