Level Rizon (formerly known as "Ground Level") is a band that blends a variety of musical styles and tastes to form a distinguished diverse sound that is totally unique. The members are from the metro Detroit and Pontiac areas, and have strong musical backgrounds. Collectively there is a great amount of experience between band members, both on amateur and professional levels. The concept of the band is to provide classy entertainment for various type settings such as: private parties, concerts and nightclubs. Our musical repertoire is extensive, ranging from blues and R/B to jazz standards, fusion and funk. This band is special because the members have a genuine love for performing quality music, which shows in our performance. As Ground Level, the group has been the opening act for such artists as Roy Ayers, Ronnie Laws, Lakeside, LL Cool J, The Isley Brothers, and the funk group Slave.

Members

Kevin Edwards Leader/co-founder: Plays lead guitar and has played locally in the Detroit with various bands, as well as recording and producing young local talent in his recording studio.
Denise Edwards Lead vocalist: She has performed locally in the Pontiac and Detroit area with the band Orange Lake Drive for many years, as well performing in the locally produced opera Detroit Je t'Aime. Denise also sang on many recording projects.
Darryl Lee: aka:"The Count" Co-Leader, Drummer. He has played professionally for nearly 25 years in the Detroit-metro area with many bands, playing different styles of music. Darryl has a great love and understanding of music, especially Jazz and Jazz/Fusion.
Greg Nance Bassist co-founder: Many years of playing experience both locally and professionally, major contributor to many of Ground Level's original material and musical direction.
James Johnson Keyboards/background vocals: Has performed live on stage and in studio, as well as writing and producing own original material. He was very involved in the production of our first CD project "That Vibe".
Arden Bolden Trumpet/background vocals: Has performed with many local and national acts. He usually does the scoring, and arranging of the music charts, as well as filling the job of musical director.
