Begun in early 2007, Wesley Boynton's "Hemiola" is a fusion of Jazz, Rock, Electonica, and echnic styles forming a cohesive blend of sounds from relaxing to gripping. With an upbeat pace and a seamless flow, the disc is the product of a long period of work, bordering on obsession.

Wesley Boynton is a student of music in Chantilly, Virginia. He currently studies Marimba as his principal instrument, and wishes in the near future to attend Berklee College of Music in a composition major and a music education minor.

The album features guitarist Joseph Blair making appearances on the tracks "Neural Stimuli" and "Drunk Punched in the Pneumatic Pressure Gauge." His solos were mixed and mastered in order to produce flowing sounds and intertwining sections of melody between two guitars, in all reality being played by one person.

The album also features Dylan Coates, who had a hand in composing the beginning to "Drunk Punched in the Pneumatic Pressure Gauge" and the driving electronic bassline in "Internal Combustion Clock." He also designed the cover art, which was only changed slightly from his original design, and that concept was Wesley's basis for the back and inside covers, as well as his website layout.
