Details:
Lillian (Cookie) Anderson is a published songwriter, who has been singing and playing the guitar for almost three decades. She is a licensed primary grade music teacher and intermediate grade science teacher, and performs at children-related events. Lillian has learned that what children sing they remember. Her song "Billy's Week" is an example of how she teaches the days of the week to her kindergarten music classes.

Lillian also has a love for folktales and fairytales, and has shared this with all of her students through musical storytelling. Her children sit mesmerized as they listen to her song, "The Princess And The Pea," and soon find that they are participating themselves.

"My Shadow" is a science song written for second graders, while "Together" (a song about friends) is appropriate for any age group.

She chose the title "A Feast For Little Ears" for her CD because it includes numerous songs about food. Just by listening, you and your child will learn how to make "My Sandwich," "My Pizza," and how not to make "My Taco."

Lillian closes her CD with "Hushaby, Lullaby," a gentle melodic tune, which is an appropriate ending to forty-three minutes of fun!
