a.k.a. Shariece Mo'nique Samuel

Born on the West Coast, Lil' Shug moved to the East Coast with her parents 5 years ago. She has been humming melodies and singing song hooks since the age of 9 months. At the age of 10, Lil' Shug created a melody, wrote the lyrics and recorded her first single, titled, "My Room". The same year she released her first music video titled, "My Room". Her vivid, glowing, energetic personality and strong voice is loved by people of all ages. She has opened up for Lil' Romeo, Mario and Monica. Lil' Shug's other activities include basketball, gymnastics, choreography and dancing. She is currently the champion in the one-mile track run for her county and 12 and under 3-on-3 NBA Hoop-it Up. Now 13 years old Lil' Shug will kick-off the 2004 summer with her second DVD Music Video, titled "BASKETBALL". The basketball sound track will also be released on her 13 song album. Lil' Shug attends Queens Lake Middle where she manages to keep up with her academic study. She is the 2004 Queen for the Hampton Roads Chapter and VA State Gymnastic Level 5 floor exercise runner-up. She performs for local health and fitness events and is currently a "tween" pledger for CDC (Center for Disease Control) VERB, It's What You Do, Campaign.
