Baretta & Rollex is a six-piece band based out of the Baltimore/Washington area. The band has been together for 11 years performing for weddings, corporate affairs, clubs, parties, opening for national recording artist, and also backing up recording artist. Baretta Mercer has been singing professionally for 32 years. She is a dynamic vocalist that can sing and entertain the crowd. The band consists of Bass guitar; Lead guitar, Drums, Keyboards, Sax, Percussions and Lead female vocalist. The band members are very versatile; performing as musicians, lead vocalist and background vocalist. We are very fortunate to have this kind of talent in one band. This also makes the band sound a lot larger than it appears. The band members are lead female vocalist Baretta Mercer, Bass (Kevin Lunsford), Lead guitar (Robert Wilson), Drums (Amin Gumbs), Keyboards (Dawoud Said), Sax (Scott Paddock).
The band specializes in variety music and dance music for all occasions. We take pride in our ability to read the crowd and cater to the audiences appeal. Our newest CD release is titled AT LAST. The CD consist of different styles of music such as R & B, Hip Hop, Neo Soul, Funk, and Contemporary Jazz. The band is currently performing up and down the East coast, and Midwest.
