BeatRed is uptempo rock with meaningful lyrics, beats which drive, guitars that push and melodies that stay with you. BeatRed's story (so far) is mostly my story......I started as a drummer in the first German band to be signed straight to an American major label (Vamp to Atlantic records). While in Vamp I toured all over Europe and the UK. At one of our gigs Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maidenâs singer, was present. One year later he called to offer me the drum throne on his Solo World tour..Good Times..
This experience landed me in London, where I became a founding member of the UK rock band Skin â we had several top twenty singles and a No.1 rock album, played the Monsters Of Rock Festival in Castle Donnington and opened up for Bon Jovi, Van Halen and Whitesnake. After 6 years of recording and touring the world with Skin, I decided to follow my dream of moving to California.
In the last seven years I have toured and recorded with various American artists and bands; Deccatree and Anna Nalick to name a few. I have been signed to Atlantic for the second time and have produced albums and written material for various artists.
I released my first solo EP âOut Of The Boxâ in 2006. In â07 I went on tour in the US, Germany and Austria to promote the CD and my new German CD release âHeute Nachtâ.
Now, it is finally time to rock again with BeatRed! The first gigs in Europe have been received well and many more in the US and Europe will follow this year.
