Lockjaw is Wisconsin's one and only "Hell Rock" band. Combineing industrial strength beats with driving guitars and dark vocals. Sex, drugs and debauchery portrayed through music. Lockjaw's first album 1998's "Looking Like A Devil" received rave reviews throughout the midwest. A zone out masterpiece blending goth and triphop like nothing else at the time. Since 1998 Lockjaw has released a few demos but has also evolved from a solo act to a four piece band. Though the underlying themes are much the same, the music has taken on a more aggressive role. Heavy guitars and intense drumming drive this band while electronic sequencing and great hooks catch the listeners ear. Lockjaw's "Dirty Minds and Smiling Faces" takes you on a ride through hell. Crowd favorites such as "Sex On the Brain" and "Whores" are staples in the Lockjaw live set that showcase the filthy sound of Lockjaw. "Dirty Minds..." was released in May of 2004 on Lockjaw's own label Dark Drug records. This band not only sounds intense cd but has an over the top stage show that keeps their fans coming back.
