The trials of this tradjedywere the inspiration for the songs on the 'Slow me Down' cd. Grasping for strength to keep my sanity and to stop the despair, anger, frustration, and bitterness from overtaking me I started putting what I was experiencing to music. Sometimes it would be a cry for Spiritual 'HELP' like in 'Commutin Time' or just plain being real pissed off and writing a song about a drug addicts education 'Educated Kinda Guy', written the day after my son was arrested.
' Once Shared' is a song I wrote about my wife and I after I came home from visiting my son in jail.What happened to our life? I just wanted some joy back. I was experiencing a nightmare.
Whether you're married, single, a parent struggeling with kids or a kid struggeling with the challenges of growing up, the songs on this cd will speak to you about life in a lighthearted way.
