"Joy" is the third Children's CD by this popular Chicago musicican. Jeanie B! embraces the notion that children's music should sound like adult music with kid friendly lyrics. There is something for everyone on this CD. The songs range from inspiring and uplifting to thoughtful and hearfelt. Kids love the sound of this rockin' band and benefit from the connection that Jeanie makes to their life situations in many songs. There's plenty of laughs as well to keep your funny bone happy.

Jeanie B has had many of her children's originals crossover into the adult market and this CD promises more of those for sure.

The title song "Joy" will fill you with just that. It was written about Jeanie's own children who wake up with their bright eyes and exclaim "I'm feeling great" and carry on with that joy througout the day. It's contagious.

"Hey Daddio" is a rockin' tribute to great Dad's viewed through the eyes of a child imagining they all live in a magical kingdom built by Daddio.

"When I'm Older" is the lament of an older sibling frustrated by the younger kids in the house and longing to grow up so they can do more things.

"Dog's Life" is a new take on songs that have animal sounds as the basis. "Cows like to go to the moovies" is how it starts and it takes us through the animal kingdom with a pun and a giggle at every turn.

When Jeanie's son exclaimed one summer day that it was "Ha ha ha ha Hot!" the song "Hot Summer" was born. A delightful Jimmy Buffet style adventure through the joys of summer will keep you warm all year round.

You buy a really nice toy for your child, they open the box and it's wrapped in bubble wrap. What toy? It's all about the bubble wrap. The song "Bubble Wrap" says it all!!

So many kids are over scheduled these days. "I Just Wanna Play" is a kids lament to his parents to just let him play and grow from just haning out. Parents could use a little play time too...

"Comes from my Heart" certainly does. This one will reach down deep and touch your emotions and lift you up. Beautiful acoustic guitars and layered harmonies. Great for a quiet moment.

Jeanie B! is "Daddy's Little Girl". This song was written as a tribute to her father on his 80th Birthday and will have all Daddy's holding their little girls tight tonight.
