Details:
Local Radio brings something fresh into a rock world that is currently engulfed by carbon-copy replica bands. Infectious songwriting continues to attract willing recruits to their legion of followers, and in a relatively short amount of time they have made huge strides in the thriving Boston music scene, melding diverse genres into what is uniquely Local Radio. Whether it be the dark and heavy Cold Sunshine, the country-flavored Karl and Becky, or the acoustic Seventeen, the band's formula is simple - have fun playing good songs.

Several songs have caught the attention of radio DJs and music internet sites, most notably the haunting piano ballad Wintertime in Somerville, which reached the #1 position on Boston.com. With their debut EP Frequency and their just released full-length CD No-Fi, Local Radio's already high profile can only be enhanced further.
