Hi. I've recorded, toured, played guitar and sang with the folk/pop/bluegrass/celtic band the Clumsy Lovers for the past 13 years. "Good times" to be sure. (great sit-com by the way) I own it on dvd. We've met lots of amazing people and seen a town or two. Or 600. Still currently logging the miles...if only we were paid by the mile... Clumsy Lover taxi anyone? We'll give you a good rate from Seattle to Sarasota!
We had some time off here at home in Vancouver a while back. I spent a few rainy November nights in the studio with my brother Mark Rogers and my friend Conrad Helten. This selection of tunes was recorded at Beatty Lane studios in downtown Vancouver with a really excellent guy who goes by the name of Shael Wrinch. These songs are a departure from the music i normally play on the road. More of an introspective approach. Somewhat sedated. A moment in time captured for what it was. And hopefully still is on some level. Not perfect by a long shot, but these songs chronicle the way i was feeling at the time. Maybe you can relate. I hope to record some quieter songs i've completed sometime soon and put them up here too. Trev
