My name is Lucky Jacque. I am in my thirties and came from South Africa and I was raised in different countries, like East Africa. Today I am a Danish citizen. I grew up in a culture with gospel and church music. I have lived in different countries, such as England and the USA. Where I have experienced many different music traditions and genre, After moving to Denmark in 1990, I have performed with different African bands and in the last couple of years my music has developed in the direction of dance and pop music. In spite of European-American influence, my African roots are still strong in my music and I therefor call it "Afro-European pop".
My big passion is music. Nothing makes me as happy as to work with my music. And my goal is to touch people with the wards in my music, of course I wouldn't mind to be able to make a living of it. I composed the music and write the lyrics myself. My music is a mixture of different cultures and genre. I want to make music that covers a large spectrum, all ages young and grownups. But why not let the music speak for itself.
