Lula combines music, drama, story-telling and humor to touch the hearts of children with the good news of Jesus Christ, His love for them and His passion to fill their lives with hope and purpose. Toward this end, Lula conducts live programs for children by invitation in any setting she is able to attend. Lula also produces music CDs and children's books in both English and Spanish. Although based in the United States, our desire is to touch the children of the world. But it is only the touch of God on a child's life that can affect real change lasting for a lifetime! By awakening the heart of a child to the reality of Christ's love, new life can begin. Each child has the potential to touch the lives of many, many others in years to come, and each one is a treasure in God's eyes.

We also recognize that Christ's love sometimes needs to be expressed in very tangible ways. For this reason we also strive to be very active in compassion ministries and have pledged no less than 25 of the proceeds from the sale of books and CDs directly into efforts to alter the physical environment for children in difficult situations. We hope to facilitate child adoptions, and to raise up Christian-operated orphanages in various parts of the world, beginning with India and Central America.

Lula loves to sing, and the lyrics of her songs are meant to encourage children to step out into praise and worship with their whole heart. The music often uses Hispanic idioms, but also the sounds of contemporary popular styles of music children encounter everywhere.

The first CD released in July, 2004, "Worship with Lula" includes songs of praise and worship, but also songs that help children overcome their own inner fears and struggles growing up in a modern world. The musical styles range from salsa, ska, and pop-rock to jazz. All the songs are either sung in both English and Spanish, or separate language versions are provided on the same CD, combining for nearly 80 minutes of recorded material on a single CD!
