The Majestics started in 1996 as an outlet for David Bernson, a well known drummer in the Southern California roots/rockabilly scene, to perform and record his original material. He has been the drummer in bands you may know like, The Forbidden Pigs, The Blazers, Hot Rod Lincoln, Josie Kruezer and the Hollywood Combo. When this CD was being made a bunch of his friends offered to play on it. You can hear guitar work from Adrian Demain (the Forbidden Pigs, Lee Rocker), Gene Jaramillo (Russell Scott, The Eugene Edwards Band) and bass player Gary Gomez. After the CD was released in 1999, Gene Jaramillo, Gary Gomez and David Bernson played around the west coast together for about a year and a half as the Majestics. Look for more songs from that era of the band coming out soon.
