If Shawn Colvin and the Dixie Chicks had a baby with Weird Al Yankovic...well, that would be newsworthy. But it also might sound something like Mandy Steckelberg's Greatest Hits (Volume II).

Mandy Steckelberg wrote her first song when she was 15 years old, entitled "I Saw Mommy Kissing Uncle Bob." While there is no truth to that story, her mother understandably encouraged Mandy to pursue ventures besides songwriting. After years of performing comedy and improv, and a staggering stint in an acappella group, Mandy finally bought a guitar, taught herself to play and a legend was born. Raised in various spots in Nebraska, Iowa and (mostly) Texas, schooled at Vassar College, Mandy first lived the dream in New York City and now resides in Los Angeles, CA where she lives with her dog Sally and all the songs she hasn't written yet.
