At the age of 12, Margot released her debut album, "Rising," produced by John Jennings, the producer-guitarist best known for his Grammy Award-winning work with Mary Chapin Carpenter. For "Rising," Margot was honored by the Washington Area Music Association as the youngest artist on record to receive a Wammie nomination (Best Vocalist and Song of the Year for "Fly Away").
Now 14, Margot plays out in the Washington DC area. A music major at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Margot continues to hone her craft as both a songwriter and performer.
