Back to the roots...
growing up in North Carolina I got to pull a lot of influence from old rock and american roots music. I played with great local musicians in bands ranging from improv blues to bluegrass.
Moving to California in 2001,
I started writing songs about the "Good Ol' Music" that I believe is still out there. Songs that try to make something positive out of politics, the simple life, the big city and the music industry. Songs that pay respect to the great musicians of the past and the home I came from.
