Matt Merten, who currently is teaching music at the University of Notre Dame, has performed on many instruments and in many bands including: Breaker Breaker, The Halfway House Septet, Regis Philbin's Pop Orchestra, and the Bro Willie Brass Band. In these bands and as a soloist Merten has opened shows for Soul Coughing, Train, Marvelous 3, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Jack Johnson, Better than Ezra, Wookiefoot, The Big Wu, Mason Jennings, The Jayhawks, Martin Zellar, Soul Asylum, Michael Tolcher, Ambulance LTD, and the Walkmen.

This cd is Merten's first solo album and includes an all-star cast of musicians backing him up. There are musicians from The Vee's, Wookiefoot, The Heed, Self Evident, Roger, the Bro Willie Brass Band, and the Saint Cloud Symphony Orchestra.
