Marshall is a freelance musician in Minneapolis and plays percussion, bass, keyboards, and acoustic guitar. He has performed with a variety of bands, solo artists, and dancers throughout the Twin Cities area, and has toured parts of the US with the progressive rock band Alchemy VII. Marshall is currently working on several collaborative studio projects as well as the interest in continued solo work. His music has recently been used in two international trade shows, one in California and one in Japan.

Arise From Within is an instrumental CD that blends ambient, rock, classical, and electronic together with a strong percussive background. All compositions were written and performed by Marshall. The individual tracks range from up-beat danceable songs to slower mystical pieces to powerful soundtrack-style songs. Think of it as Kitaro meets Pink Floyd at a rave.
