DF Kin Bun was produced by DynaComware Corp., and part of a library of East Asian fonts available through Linotype.com. DF Kin Bun is a Japanese OpenType font that supports the Adobe Japan 1-3 full character set. Its large character set includes Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana, and Romaji glyphs, among an array of additional items. This font's embedding level has been set to Print-and-Preview; it may be embedding in electronic documents, such as Adobe PDFs, etc.This style of Japanese script is based on ancient examples of Chinese characters that have been found engraved on Japanese bronze vessels. The font's name comes from Japanese words kin (meaning metal), and bun (word).
