Mary is a native of Kingstree, South Carolina, now residing in Monroe, Connecticut. Mary's singing career began in the church with her brothers and sisters in a group called "The Heavenly Gospel Singers". Over the years Mary has appeared on stage with such greats as, Shirly Ceaser, Dottie People, Vicky Winnas, Bobby Jone, Slim and The Supprene Angels, Willie Neal Johnson and The Gospel Keynotes, Lee Willams, The Lunzy Sisters and The Gospel Ambassadors, just to name a few.
