"Boundaries" is definitely an apt album title! This is the kind of CD you want to really listen to -- with your feet up in a dark room with a glass of wine.

The CD contains 9 tracks -- all original music. But what's interesting and unique about this CD is that aside from very limited use of percussion, it that IT'S ALL GUITAR. Based on the complex and highly-layered nature of the music, in many cases you'll probably have to listen to some of tracks (Boundaries and Managed Anger as examples) several times to take it all in and convince yourself of that fact -- because you'll swear your listening to a full symphony.

The artist, Stephen Mazzoni, has been playing the guitar for 27 years and has played in jazz and classical guitar ensembles as well as numerous hard rock bands - and the music reflects this diversity of experience. Some of his influences include Eric Johnson, Steve Morse, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, Al Dimeola, Eric Clapton, Steve Howe, Jimmy Page, and Jimi Hendrix.
