25 year old, female singer/songwriter living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Arlene's style is folky, with hints of rock and roll. She plays alone most of the time, accompanied only by her guitar. She's inspired and influenced by a wide range of artists including Ani Difranco, Dar Williams, Dan Bern, Melissa Ferrick, The Indigo girls, Sheryl Crow, Eminem, Hammel on Trial, Doug Norrie, Ryan Adams, Counting Crows, and Tegan and Sara. Arlene attends live shows when an interesting artist comes her way. She is open to new music, and is always trying to create a new sound in her own song writing.

She has been writing songs for as long as she can remember and picked up the guitar her senior year in high school. However, she didn't seriously start playing until about two years later, and she has yet to stop.

At 25 she excited about the world around her, and willing to move with the wind. Arlene will be playing guitar, singing, and writing songs probably for the rest of her life. She did all of the artwork for her album.
