Maureen McElheron composes the music for animator Bill Plympton's films. Their first film YOUR FACE was nominated for an Academy Award. THE TUNE is an animated musical about Del, a songwriter who is under pressure to write a hit song.
Del gets lost in a the magical land of Flooby Nooby where he falls into many adventures. Blues, country, surfer songs, love ballads and wacky Elvis impersonating hounds can be heard on THE TUNE soundtrack.
Del finds true love and finally nabs his hit song.
