In the year of 1997 in the small town of Sullivan Wisconsin. Tom Torp and Mike Mesa practice playing music in the attic of Tom's house. One day Mike Mesa notice a hayloft above the old two car garage that Tom Torp had behind the house. An idea came to Mike Mesa!? to check out the hayloft. Once inside the hayloft Mike told Tom, this would be an excellent music studio. So Tom with the help of Mike Mesa converted the old hayloft into the music studio which Tom named Mesa Hall.
Shortly after the studio was built Mike Anderson, Randy Gatzow and Kurt Grosskopf joined in and completed the band,with the help of Paul Brenner on saxophone in a few songs.
When the cd was still in the mastering stage, Mike Anderson moved to North Carolina but still keeps in touch. As a matter of fact the last song Caleb is about his new born son.
The studio Mesa Hall was sold in 2000 when Tom decided to go south for the winter, so now Mike Mesa is building a new studio (Mesa Hall II ) so that we can continue on with our next cd.
