Biography
--------

Michael Price has quickly become one of the UK's most sought after composers and music editors for film In the last 18 months he has scored 3 feature films, alongside significant music editing achievements on Richard Curtis' "Love Actually", and as lead music editor on Peter Jackson's trilogy "The Lord of the Rings". Michael is equally at ease writing in full orchestral or more electronic and contemporary idioms, and is greatly in demand as a producer, arranger and programmer having worked on more than 30 major studio pictures.

In 1996 Michael was invited by film composer Michael Kamen to program synths on the Paramount movie "Event Horizon". This led to a long working relationship encompassing a number of film scores in London, LA and Prague, and concerts in Berlin, New York, San Francisco and Geneva. Following the successful production of the score to "Band of Brothers" (HBO/Spielberg/Hanks), Michael was approached to music edit on "The Fellowship of the Ring" for New Line Cinema.

He has recently completed composing the score for the feature film "Some Things That Stay" and is already contracted to music edit Working Title's "The Edge of Reason" (Bridget Jones 2) and the extended DVD of "The Return of the King".
